Healing Peter’s Mother-in-Law

Today’s Verse

“When Jesus came into Peter’s house, He saw Peter’s mother-in-law lying in bed with a fever. He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on Him.”

– Matthew 8:14–15

When Jesus touched Peter’s mother-in-law, the fever left immediately.

Today, God is saying: “Do not underestimate the power that flows through you. When you touch, I touch. When you speak, I back your words. When you move in faith, I move with power. You are not ordinary; you are My vessel, My instrument, My carrier of healing.”

Bold One, you do not need to wait passively for someone else to bring breakthrough. You have the authority of heaven in your hands and your words.

Notice something powerful in today’s passage: Peter’s mother-in-law didn’t just get healed - she immediately rose up and began to serve. Healing was not just about removing her suffering; it was about restoring her to purpose. In the same way, when you release healing over your body, your family, or others, you are not just breaking affliction, you are restoring people back to their God-given assignment.

Today, the fever breaks. Not just over your body, but through your ministry, your prayers, and your obedience. You are not just a receiver of miracles, you are a dispenser of miracles. Stretch forth your hand. Release your faith. Healing will flow.

Bold Prophetic Declarations

Come into agreement with today's Word by declaring boldly;

I decree and declare that by the power of the Holy Ghost, every “fever” in my life and in my family breaks now and every affliction is uprooted in the name of Jesus.

I am not a bystander to miracles; I am God’s vessel, His instrument, and His carrier of healing, and what God has spoken concerning me, no man can overturn. I declare that sickness cannot linger in my atmosphere, because the fire of God consumes every trace of infirmity and weakness.

By divine mandate, every yoke shatters, every stronghold collapses, and every demonic verdict against my health and destiny is reversed now in Jesus’ name. I prophesy that healing in my life does not only remove affliction but restores me and those connected to me back to divine purpose and assignment.

Today, I summon divine alignment and supernatural order. I release strength, vitality, and wholeness into my body, mind, and spirit. I call things that be not as though they were - I command life, restoration, and freedom to spring forth without delay.

I decree that I am not just a receiver of miracles but a dispenser of miracles. I prophesy to the winds, the bones, and the gates, and I release healing to my household, my community, and to the nations.

It is done. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Today, don’t just think of healing as something you receive - see it as something you release. Ask the Holy Spirit to show you one area (yourself, your family, or someone around you) where you can stretch forth your faith and command wholeness.
