Today’s Verse

“You hem me in behind and before, and You lay Your hand upon me.”

– Psalm 139:5

When David penned these words in Psalm 139, he wasn’t speaking of a distant God who occasionally checks in. He was describing the nearness of a God who refuses to leave you uncovered.

God’s protection is not partial but total encirclement. God goes before you to clear the obstacles you can’t even see yet. He stands behind you, redeeming every chapter of your past, and rests His hand upon you, marking you with blessing, favor, and divine endorsement.

You are not stepping into this day exposed or vulnerable. You are stepping in shielded by glory. You are wrapped, covered, and hemmed in by the very presence of the Almighty.

God’s presence is the place you were created to live in. Even on the days you can’t feel Him, He’s still with you just as much as when you can. This means you never walk into a room alone. The atmosphere of Heaven moves with you. In the boardroom, He is your wisdom. In the hospital room, He is your healer. In your living room, He is your peace. You don’t just enter spaces, you carry the Kingdom into them.

Everywhere you go today, His presence is already there, preparing the way and filling the space with glory.

Bold Prophetic Declarations

Declare boldly;

I decree and declare: I do not step into this day uncovered. I am fully surrounded by the presence of Almighty God. He goes ahead of me, clearing obstacles I cannot see, and He stands behind me, redeeming every part of my past.

God’s hand is upon me, marking me with blessing, favor, and divine approval. I am not exposed, I am wrapped in glory. The presence I carry is a fortress that moves with me. I don’t just walk into rooms; I carry the Kingdom into every space I enter.

Today, I move with confidence, knowing Heaven has gone before me and the atmosphere is already shifting in my favor.

It is done, it is settled, it is so. In Jesus' name, Amen!

Today, walk with the conscious awareness of God’s presence.

In your Boldly Declared Reflection Companion, draw a circle and write your name in the middle. Around the circle, write the words: Before me, Behind me, Beside me, Upon me.

As you go through your day, glance at it and remind yourself that you are surrounded.
