DO IT AFRAID

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
- Joshua 1:9
Bold One,
Have you ever found yourself in a situation where you know exactly what God is asking you to do, but everything inside you is shaking?
You’re not confused; you’re just afraid. You are afraid of what people will say or what it will cost you. At this point fear is not whispering to you but shouting saying:
“Wait a little longer.”
“You’re not ready yet.”
“What if it doesn’t work?”
Bold One, in Joshua 1:9, God speaks to a man standing at the edge of destiny, facing unknown territory and overwhelming responsibility. God does not remove the challenge, but He strengthens the command:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the LORD your God will be with you wherever you go.”
In other words, courage is not the absence of fear, but obedience in the presence of fear.
Bold One. God is not asking you to feel ready. He is asking you to trust His presence more than your fear.
Maybe what He is calling you into feels too big or even uncomfortable, but know that every destiny moment in Scripture required someone to move while afraid.
Moses stepped forward trembling.
Esther approached the king with uncertainty.
Peter stepped out of the boat with shaking faith.
And yet in every case, God met them in the place of obedience.
Bold One, you do not need fear to disappear before you obey. You only need to decide that fear will not lead you.
So stop waiting for confidence to arrive before you move.
Today, do it afraid.
Activate This Word - You Are Courageous
Today, I come into agreement with the Word of the Lord over my life.
I trust the presence of God more than the pressure of my emotions.
I declare that am strong in the Lord.
I declare that I am courageous by His Spirit.
I am not led by fear; I am led by the Word of God.
I will obey God completely, even when I feel afraid.
I will move when God says move.
I will speak when God says speak.
I will step forward when God says step forward.
Fear will not stop me.
Doubt will not delay me.
My Lord goes with me wherever I go.
His presence surrounds me, His strength upholds me, and His wisdom directs me.
I declare that I will not shrink back from what God has called me to do.
I will not abandon instructions because of pressure.
Today, I choose courage.
I choose faith in action.
Every assignment God has placed in my hands will be completed.
I declare that fear loses its authority over my life today.
I silence every voice that contradicts God’s instruction.
I break agreement with hesitation and delay.
Today, I step into bold obedience.
I am not alone; God is with me.
And because He is with me, I will not be afraid.
I will do what God has called me to do.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Do It Afraid
Today is simple.
Revisit what God has already put upon your heart.
Then obey Him and DO IT AFRAID.
Because courage is not the absence of fear.
Courage is obedience in the presence of fear.
